The COVID-19 outbreak has sparked one of the most severe forms of a national crisis for many of the affected countries around the world. Experts have attributed the outbreak to a novel coronavirus that has since spread across China and abroad with confirmed cases exceeding 180,000 globally. In Europe, the number of infections has surpassed 50,000 and more than 2,000 deaths were reported as of March 19. 

China stands ready to join hands with the international community to fight against the COVID-19 outbreak in order to uphold global health security.
