On the second day of the opening of the first China International Import Expo, invited by the British Consulate in China, Wang Yannan, the deputy general manager of Cosmetics Industry (Huzhou) Investment and Development Co. Ltd, attended the first China Cosmetic Safety International Forum of China International Import Expo on behalf of China Beautéville. This seminar is the second time for China Beautéville to participate in the international industry seminar on the safety of cosmetics production after the research meeting on the supervision of cosmetics in Zhejiang held by the National Medical Product Administration and Zhejiang Food and Drug Administration recently.

The China cosmetic safety seminar was presided over by Mr. Moyers, the director of UK international trade, retail and consumer industry in China. Wu Baina, British ambassador to China and Xu Jinghe, deputy director of National Medical Products Administration delivered welcome speeches. Mr. Qi Liubin, Director of Cosmetics Supervision and Management Department of National Medical Products Administration, gave a presentation on the current state of China's regulatory policy on imported cosmetics, saying that animal substitution testing should be a positive and encouraging approach to international trends, but it should be based on China's national conditions and progressed gradually. In addition, Dr Manfred Aben, Vice President of Unilever Global R&D Center (Shanghai), Cinzia Vela, WBA Director of Global Quality Safety and Compliance, Galan Group CEO Liu Yuliang and other world-renowned brand representatives also combined with their own development of the importance of cosmetic safety and regulatory feasibility.

After the meeting, Mr. Wang Yanan, Deputy General Manager of the Cosmetics Industry (Huzhou) Investment Development Co., Ltd. had a brief conversation with Mr. Qi Liubin, Director of the Cosmetics Supervision and Management Department of National Medical Products Administration. Wang Yanan, deputy general manager, introduced China Beautéville to director Qi Liubin, and said that China Beautéville, as a platform for the whole cosmetics industry chain, would make joint efforts with all enterprises in the park to strengthen the supervision of cosmetics production safety and set a benchmark for the industry.
